Along the Washington coast, in Olympic National Park, there is a beach called Ruby Beach where the driftwood piles up high on the shore. We were sitting around a fire on Ruby Beach, when the idea for the Driftwood scent came to us: a warm, smooth, earthy bouquet with strong overtones of vetiver and sandalwood, and hints of vanilla and ylang ylang. A scent that encourages your mind to wander even if you’re stuck behind a desk.

    Clean and not overpowering

Another reviewer described the scent as smelling like the lumber section at Lowe's. That (in my opinion) isn't entirely accurate. It is more complex than that. It smells more like a carpenter's workshop: fresh sawdust, sanded pine and accomplishment. Also, my wife says that she can smell vanilla in it......but she has a super sniffer.

    Good buy.

It is a good item but I am not sure that it is exactly what I was looking for. I’m looking for something maybe a little heavier so the product was good but I need some heavier oil for my tough beard.

No scent...and isn’t that the point?
